From the editor.
Welcome to this issue of Despatches. I must apologise for the delay in issuing Despatches this week, but it was for a good cause: I have a new job! We have rather a mixed bag of links for you, from fic to historical re-enactments and a lot of stuff in between. Do remember to tell your friends about Despatches and let me know if there is anything you have written or made that you would like me to link to next time!

Also, there are two journals that I know that have been updated in the last 24 hours where the updates, set to 'public', are not showing up on

despatch_reader's Reading Page. If you have updated a fic journal, a comm, or your own journal with an AoS item that is not linked in this issue of Despatches, please comment to this entry with a link. I am trying to sort the problem out and hopefully everything will be working properly by next week's issue.
