Ulp. My bad! I must beg pardon for the delay in bringing out Issue 31. I don't actually have any sort of excuse. Well, here we are on Dreamwidth. For those who don't know me, I'm [personal profile] sharpiefan or Sharpie. I am involved in the Sharpe, Hornblower and M&C fandoms, usually cheering from the sidelines but I occasionally write fics.

I thought there was a need for a newsletter such as we are used to on LJ. So here it is: Issue 1 of DW's very own [community profile] despatches. If you know of the LJ version, you will understand the ethos and aims of this DW version.

This issue will feature a lot of my fics, which is unusual and not to be considered normal. I have had some difficulty finding a suitable cut-off point in reading back over things that ought to be linked here. For the next four issues, if anyone has anything suitable for inclusion here that was written or posted on DW before this first issue was posted, please comment with a link and I will include. This only applies for the next four issues - up to and including Issue 5. After that, I will only link to works produced or posted on DW between Despatches coming out.
