I am somewhat unsure if this qualifies as AOS fic proper, and and it's really silly so I apologize if this isn't within your remit, but I wrote O Sula Mio, a Les Misérables/Master and Commander crossover c. 1830 wherein Stephen Maturin and Cosette have an encounter in the Jardin des Plantes and Marius is a blue-footed booby (G).
