Note from the EditorThis is the first issue of Despatches in this new year of 2011, and I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very Happy New Year. I hope that you all have a very good year this year, and I do hope that you will keep on writing - and drawing, vidding and making icons.
It is with great sadness that I heard of the death of the actor Pete Postlethwaite this week. As many of you know, he played Sergeant Obadiah Hakeswill in Sharpe. May you rest in peace, Mr Postlethwaite.
