Note from the Editor Well, it's that time once again! You may have noticed that Despatches is now coming out fortnightly, rather than weekly. This is simply because there is not enough happening here on Dreamwidth to merit a weekly round-up... yet. This issue will be the last of this year and I hope that you have found Despatches here to be as informative as the LJ original.

May I encourage you all to keep writing, drawing, vidding and iconsing. I would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas, a Happy Yule or a joyous season, whatever your beliefs. And please, do let me know if there is any aspect of Despatches you feel I could improve. Apart from content, for which I look to you, my fellow fans. And as always, please continue to spread the word!

From the editor.
Welcome to this issue of Despatches. I must apologise for the delay in issuing Despatches this week, but it was for a good cause: I have a new job! We have rather a mixed bag of links for you, from fic to historical re-enactments and a lot of stuff in between. Do remember to tell your friends about Despatches and let me know if there is anything you have written or made that you would like me to link to next time!

Also, there are two journals that I know that have been updated in the last 24 hours where the updates, set to 'public', are not showing up on [personal profile] despatch_reader's Reading Page. If you have updated a fic journal, a comm, or your own journal with an AoS item that is not linked in this issue of Despatches, please comment to this entry with a link. I am trying to sort the problem out and hopefully everything will be working properly by next week's issue.
